We were commissioned by Devilfish to composite and grade these stunning Channel Idents for Scandinavian TV Channel Nenolen.
Utilising the 360 capabilities of the Ladybug camera, we were supplied raw footage which we then compisited and graded. Shot on location around the UK as a result of our grey weather it even involved some sky replacement, which our talented VFX artists were more than capable of handling, no problem!

Our talented team of Animators and CG/VFX artists applied their knowledge of Lightwave and After Effects to create and integrate the 'vortex' stream of gaming content within this Commercial for Sony Playstation...
Financial Times - "Homeland"

Penny Royal did all the post for this challenging project. From Keying to CG and all the final compositing. The 3D elements were modeled in XSI and Lightwave and the end result is a diverse mixture of Live-Action, 2½D and CG sequences.
Trivial Pursuit - "Useless Facts"

Everyone’s favourite after-dinner board game comes to life in the mad world of Trivial Pursuit.
With a colour palette that reflects the 6 playing wedges, the TVC was designed to be sympathetic to the game box imagery and to pay homage to the retro nature of the family game. Penny Royal provided all the charming Animation, Sound Design and additional Post Production.
Virgin Media Shorts 2008
The concept for Virgin Media Shorts 2008 began with the neutral black space of a cinema. We wanted to bring the famous Virgin Media coloured shards to life in animation, and envisage them as interacting beams of energy.
KFC Krush'ems - "Social Netloving"
This funny, upbeat romp through a modern day teenage crush formed a delightful commercial for food goliath KFC.
Played out through a social networking sight, the viewer discovers all the gossip about Becky's first love.
Penny Royal have watched jeggings come and go whilst working closely with Next over the last few years to create regular TV commercials promoting the brand's big seasonal sales and in-store offers.
Chiquita - "Acerola Berries"
We did all the post production on this stop motion project for Chiquita. The sequence was shot in reverse, so the oranges begin on the floor and find their way back to the log. We also solved what has been a significant dilemma for smoothie ads in the past - the dreaded blend. Instead of employing expensive equipment, we used two plates, one a bottle of smoothies and the other a bottle of fruit. Lay one over the other and, once animated, the fruit appears to magically blend in the bottle.
Chiquita - "Less is More!"
We produced all the animation and VFX for this Chiquita tv commercial. The most challenging shot was the pouring shot, this achieved with two plates, one of the stream of smoothie and another of the smoothie bottle apparently emptying, which was shot in reverse to avoid residue. All of the sound design and music for the “Less is More” ad were created by us in-house.
The Daily Mirror - "Maps"

This 20 second TVC for the Daily Mirror depicts a father and son exploring a map of their local area. It was developed to coincide with The Daily Mirror's offer of a free map of your area from days gone by.
Penny Royal provided all the Animation for this ad. The commercial involved combining both live action, 2D and 3D Animation.
McDonald's - "Little Tasters"

Working with Blac Ionica and top creatives from Leo Burnett, we created a kinetic typographic journey for the new Little Tasters Menu at McDonald's. The TVC was made with a heartfelt and respectful nod to Saul Bass.
