Tonightly

Client: objective productions

 

Our good friends at Objective commisioned us to create this upbeat title sequence for the Channel 4 show Tonightly, showcasing new comedy talent. We did all the CG, post production and music.

We used incredible time lapse footage and integrated huge CG letters from the Tonightly logo, that we designed in conjunction with the title sequence. We also wrote the music that accompnies the title sequence, ensuring cohesion betwen the visual and audio.

Make With A Red Stripe

Red Stripe Make Art On The Street Animated Installation with Spaceboy and Blac Ionica.

We've been working on something really special with Scottish artist Spaceboy as part of Make Art on the Street.

As part of Red Stripe's initiative, Spaceboy pasted his illustrations on the Newhaven Harbour shutters in Edinburgh, capturing and recording each one.

Innocent Smoothies "Big Recipe Felicity"

Client: Innocent

We did all the post production to two Innocent Smoothie commercials reflecting the honesty and simplicity of the brand. Filmed in a green screen studio to create the rolling hills, shooting the stop-frame stills on a Canon 5D. Working with Dan Germain and Richard Reed from Innocent was a pleasure, as was designing the sound for the ad - most of which came out of our sound designer’s mouth.

Penny Royal are proud to present the Title Sequence for E4's Chris Addison hosted comedy show "Show & Tell" which was shot and Directed in 2010 by Blac Ionica and edited in-house by our creative wizards.

The show first aired in September 2011 and has received brilliant praise.

Financial Times - "Homeland"

Client: ddb london

Penny Royal did all the post for this challenging project. From Keying to CG and all the final compositing. The 3D elements were modeled in XSI and Lightwave and the end result is a diverse mixture of Live-Action, 2½D and CG sequences.

Carling Festival Postcards

Client: done & dusted

These cheeky little number was done with Done & Dusted for Channel 4. It has a vague nod to Monty Python style graphics but with more energy. We animated the whole piece using photographs (photomontage) to create a surreal and textural openning sequence to the show.

The Daily Mirror - "Maps"

This 20 second TVC for the Daily Mirror depicts a father and son exploring a map of their local area. It was developed to coincide with The Daily Mirror's offer of a free map of your area from days gone by.

Penny Royal provided all the Animation for this ad. The commercial involved combining both live action, 2D and 3D Animation.

Russell Howards Good News

Client: Avalon Television

This is a 25 second Stop-frame Title Sequence for comedian Russell Howard’s debut TV Show for the BBC. The Title Sequence features a rough total of 150 card cut-out Russell’s, a good humoured Kate Silverton, music provided by Kasabian, and most importantly an upside down Panda smoking a pipe.
