Financial Times - "Homeland"

Client: ddb london

Directed by Blac Ionica, The Financial Times 'Homeland' Commercial was shot in a single day at Black Islands Studios in front of a green screen with a cast of 20 people. It tells the story of the ‘Financial Times’ we live in by bringing to life the modern business world from between the pages. “Homeland” ends with a view of the global cityscape found in the FT’s print ads for that year.

The 3D elements were modeled in XSI and Lightwave and the end result is a diverse mixture of Live-Action, 2½D and CG sequences.

The campaign received wide exposure across major and influential networks such as CNN, BBC Worldwide, Bloomberg and EuroNews.
